Mawa Bread roll 450 gm Sugar 550 ml Water 150 gm Khoa 1 drop orange food color ¼ cup chopped Almonds ¼ cup chopped Cashews ½ tsp Cardamom powder 80 gm Powdered sugar 7 - 8 Bread Milk Grated coconut 1. Boil water in a pan, add sugar and then sugar syrup will start to boil. 2. Heat a pan, add 150 grams khoa and stir until it's melted completely and is roasted well. 3. Remove from heat and add 1/4 teaspoon organic food color. Mix well. 4. Transfer it to mixing bowl, add almonds, cashews, cardamom powder, powdered sugar and mix well to combine. 5. Take a small portion of the mixture and make small balls and keep them aside. 6. Take bread slices and remove the brown edges using a sharp knife. 7. Dip it to the milk and squeeze out the extra milk and place one stuffing piece over the bread slice. 8. Lift the bread from all the sides to close the stuffing. 9. Heat sufficient oil in a heavy skillet. Deep fry until crispy and golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper. 10. Soak the mawa rolls in sugar syrup and roll in grated coconut.
